Full Moon Silhouette

Last weekend we had a full moon. I was out taking photos at a reservation called Weir River Farm on Saturday. As I was heading back to the car I was walking up a hill and when I got to the top the moon was just above the horizon. It was a very cool site and I tried to grab some shots while I could. It was actually lighter out than this shot depicts but I underexposed the shot so I could see more of the pattern on the moon.

  1. This shot came out really well. I’m too scared to attempt picture close to dark yet. I will have to try it out.

  2. Beautiful. I love it.

  3. Great shot Jamie.

  4. Thank you.
@Tom, low light images aren’t too hard as long as you have a tripod and there isn’t anyone moving in the scene.

  5. Excellent shot…great job with the exposure!
