While standing in Hull you can look out over the ocean and see the Boston Light. Which reminds me that I really need to go on one of the Boston Island tours so I can get a closer shot of this lighthouse. Last spring my parents and I talked about taking one of the tours over the summer but it just never happened. I guess we’ll try again next year (something to look forward to).

Taken from Wikipedia:

Boston Light is a lighthouse located on Little Brewster Island in outer Boston Harbor, Ma. The first lighthouse to be built on the site dates back to 1716, and was the first lighthouse to be built in what is now the US. The current lighthouse dates from 1783, is the second oldest working lighthouse in the US (after Sandy Hook Lighthouse in New Jersey), and is the only lighthouse to still be actively staffed by the US Coast Guard. The structure was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1964.
