Talk about crazy New England weather…yesterday we had the first snow of the season (in my area anyway) while just 4 days ago I was sitting outside eating lunch because it was 70°!
I think the first snow is always the prettiest. At this point the trees have been bare of leaves for a few weeks and everything is brown. The first snow usually isn’t a huge storm so it adds a beautiful dusting of white to the branches. Actually, now that I look at the pictures it was a little more than a dusting. However, it melted fairly fast as the sun came out and it started to reach the high 30s.
