Twilight Time

On our last night in Rome (or what I thought was our last night- our flight was cancelled and rebooked for the next day) I went out to take some photos during sunset while Chris and Karen walked around on their own. We met up later for a late dinner. Well, a late dinner by my standards but normal dinner hour for Italians (somewhere around 9pm).

This shot, was not taken from inside the Forum. Instead I had walked to the back of the Piazza del Campidoglio and was pleasantly suprised that I could look out over the Forum.

In this picture we have:

Arch of Septimius Severus (on the left)

Column of Phocas (single column just to the right of the arch)

Temple of Saturn (on the right)

Temple of Vespasian and Titus (3 columns in the right corner)

    Beautiful shot…lovely colors.
It’s always cool discovering you can see something unexpected from a new perspective.

  2. The light is really beautiful here, Jamie. Nice framing too!
