Saquish Sunset

Cross a wooden bridge…meander along a dirt road…turn right before the lighthouse…then kick it into four wheel drive over the dune and you come to paradise!  Otherwise known as Saquish.  That's where I hope to be as much as possible this summer.

Memorial Day tends to be the unofficial kick off to the begining of summer.  I spent Sunday and Monday out at the beach.  I couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off the beginning of the summer weekends.  Although, it was extremely windy yesterday I was able to take a nice walk with my parents along the beach and then got a little sun sitting out on the deck.  As usual, I ate too much but enjoyed every bit of it and had fun playing cards and hanging out with family.

Yes, it would have been nice if you were out there with all of us.

Nice pic. I like the bit of orange light reflected in the wave washing ashore there in the middle….
I liked your commentary best of all—you are lucky to have this sort of shared family space and time!

Yes, I am very lucky to have such a close family and I try never to take it for granted.
