Steeple

I love the look of a white steeple against a brilliant blue sky with puffy clouds floating by.  So, I was thrilled when I was able to capture this shot over the weekend.  While some may be attracted to steeples due to the connotations that are associated with the church and others suggest it has to do with it representing a phallic symbol, that's not what draws my eye.  For me it's the contrast in colors.  The crisp clear white set off against the brilliant blue sky.  Each color pops out of the image. Like the other architectural images I've taken, it's the lines and angles, the aesthetics of a building that intrigue me.
