I mentioned in Wednesday's post that from the walkway we were able to see dolphins. Well, I tried getting a few pictures but my lens wasn't quite powerful enough to capture a nice close-up shot. However, I thought I'd show you what I did capture. Again, with the shot on the left, I needed a longer lens. When I saw this bird fly by I just pointed my camera in his direction and fired away hoping I'd be able to get the image. I think I was pretty lucky I got this shot. The image was so small in the viewfinder I wasn't even sure what I'd come up with. So, these are my "If only…I had a longer lens, boy would these have been some pretty cool images." Although, not bad for the lens I do have. I'm still debating between a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens.
Well, it was a month ago that I was on vacation in Florida. Since being back I haven't even pulled out the camera. I don't know if it's due to the cold weather or after being in a different environment I'm not sure what to capture now that I'm home again. I only have one or two images left that I could scrape up from Florida. I guess I"m going to have to pull out the camera. I'm feeling a bit rusty.

I like these shots…
I bet pointing your camera and just shooting away back in your home environment will yield some inspired shots. Go for it!
