Happy Halloween!
I took this picture in the Downtown Crossing area. The skeleton was guarding pumpkins and gourds at the fruit/vegetable stand. I found the original image to be a bit blahh for Halloween. I added a motion blur to the background but felt it still needed more. I was going to add another filter when I decided to try a frame from PhotoFrame Pro. I had received a free copy of PhotoFrame at a workshop, about a year ago, and have never used it. This frame was called “Acid Burn.” I think it adds to the image. I’ll have to play with PhotoFrame again sometime.
Here’s a little treat: a poem I wrote for my aunt when I was in elementary school.
On Halloween night,
it was such a sight.
Gobblings and bats,
witches and cats.
Cats black as night,
ghosts so white.
They were such a fright,
twas dark that night.
Older kids screaming,
little ones dreaming.
On Halloween night,
twas such a sight.
Okay, that may have been more of a cruel trick. I don’t think I’ll give up my day job to become a poet!

Now that’s a novel take on a familiar theme. Creative, fun and brilliantly executed (no pun intended)
