We got a light dusting of snow during the day on New Year’s Eve. Just enough to make the branches on the trees look very pretty. Maybe it was a little cleansing for the arrival of the new year.

I ended up going to my brother’s house for New Year’s Eve. I don’t like being out on the road that night so I packed some clothes, a sleeping bag, pillow and of course the chocolate chip cookies. We had lots of good appetizers and desserts and stayed up playing games. I even managed to stay awake until midnight.
