Christopher Columbus Park

My brother, sister-in-law, and I took our nephews into Boston for a night as part of their Christmas present. Chris and Karen bought the boys (affectionately known as boys, they are actually young men now) Celtic tickets and paid for the hotel room. I bought lunch for everyone the next day.

Since I work in Boston, I just met them at the hotel after work. I was a little early so I took a few photos. Here’s one of the lovely blue arch in Christopher Columbus Park. Not nearly as nice a photo as the one I took back in January of 2008, as seen here. It was way to frigid to spend time setting up a good shot. Apparently, when I took the first photo it was a balmy 62° in January.

  1. Interesting contrast…I like this shot better 🙂 I love how sparkly the lights of the arch are. This shot looks like it was taken on a cold winter’s night, the clarity of the air is there. Sounds like a wonderful night of family fun!

  2. Glad you like the shot. Personally, I like the composition of the other photo.
