Mudfest

On Sunday, my nephews, brothers, dad, sister-in-law and I went to something called Mudfest. It was the first year they were having this event in Halifax. It wasn’t quite what I thought it would be. I thought they would have a muddy track that they went around but it was just two sections of maybe 100 feet each. The trucks would drive through on the left or right track then go back in the to do it again. After seeing this a few times I pretty much lost interest. Although, I was really only there to get some pics for the blog. We stayed for an hour at most.

I was amazed at how many people attended the event. We got there at the start of it and were able to jump in line behind two other people. An hour later when we left the line to get in was maybe twenty or more deep. More and more cars were driving in and there was probably already close to 1,000 people inside.
I sure hope they thoroughly clean that white jeep if they are trying to sell it!

  1. Yup, was pretty lame. I guess you have to be a true Redneck to enjoy an event like this.

  2. Yeah, I guess we’re just hicks and not rednecks.
