I love the color and fullness of these mums. They are sitting on a stump of an old tree that had to be cut down a few weeks ago. The tree had been there for probably close to 100 years and had lived it’s life. It really opened up the front yard but it was sad to see it go as it was the home of many, many, birds.

I love these shots, particularly the second one. I’ve never seen mums this color! Really, love the muted hues and textures of that second shot. If I made yarn, I’d make a skein with these colors!
