“Named after the Latin word for sacred space, Templum spirals upward as it envelops a column of darkness, a mysterious unknown. The sculpture is part of a series of architectural enclosures such as passageways, staircases, and interiors. Sheet metal, which wraps around these spaces, highlights the presence of the interiors.”
