Back in May I had visited my aunt at New England Baptist, where she had had spinal surgery. On the way out I ran into this statue. I guess they must be known for spinal surgery at this hospital because that’s a pretty big statue.
Some days I do feel as if I have two spines twisted together.

I love the matte look you got on the statue…and then how it contrasts with the sky is just fab. Love it. Your poor spine/back 🙁

Thanks Shirley. Since the background was so bright I used the flash. It doesn’t always work but I liked the effect the bounce of the flash had on the metal.
