Wow, where did June go! I can’t believe it’s July 1st already. This week’s forecast is scattered showers and humidity. Hopefully, July 4th will be okay so we can celebrate at the beach. As I mentioned before, all this rain has made for some beautiful flowers.

On Saturday, I attended another MeetUp with the Plymouth Photography Group. The theme was macro photography. I had just purchased an extender for my 100-400mm lens that would allow me to take close-up images with it. Typically, if I was too close to an object it would not be able to focus (since it’s a long lens). I think it worked well for a few shots, but I still need to practice with it.
