Back on April 29th, I showed this photo of a mother swan sitting on her nest. My aunt has been keeping a vigil on them, checking once or twice a day to see if there has been any progress. At last, on Friday the cyngnets were starting to hatch! How adorable are these babies. On Friday there were three and by yesterday there were about seven. I went to take photos of them yesterday but the family was out of the nest and too far away for me to get a shot of them.

With my new lens I was able to zoom in much closer to the nest than last time. Worth the price just for those pictures!
