Gliding

On land pelicans look awkward to me. They look very prehistoric, their bills seem too large for their bodies and when they eat a whole fish it looks painful. However, when you see them in the sky they actually have a gracefulness to them.  The further away the more graceful they look but even up close they glide by with a confidence that I don’t see when they are on land.
