Actually, I’m not sure if these are apartments. Could be a hotel or businesses. Whatever, it still amazes me how they literally build right into the cliffs. I’ve run out of things to say and I’m too tired to look up any information about the architecture in Amalfi- sorry.
Next week we wrap up southern Italy with a trip back to the Isle of Capri. This time we visit the town of Anacapri and also go on a boat tour. After that we will be heading up to Rome.

With or without description, the picture is a good representation of how the structures in Amalfi just emerge from the cliffs.
