Lights, Camera, Action!

Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to everyone. The holiday seems especially poignant this year with tomorrow’s inauguration of the first African American president. As Martin Luther King, Jr. said:

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal”…I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

While I know this country still has a way to go to truly fulfill his dream, this year we have taken a giant step in the right direction, where we can actually see and feel significant changes being made.  I have faith that we will keep growing and changing for the better.

Well, it snowed again yesterday. I think this may be the third weekend in a row. It’s still pretty cold outside but it did make it into the high 20s yesterday. I never left the apartment and instead setup my Lego Studio kit. I got this kit maybe 10+ years ago. It came with a little web camera which would allow you to create Lego animations on your computer. I was never able to get very good results from the web camera but I do like the results from the slr camera.
