Painting in the Park

After hanging out at Faneuil Hall, Josh and I made our way over to the Public Garden. Once again, we weren’t the only ones who thought it would be a nice idea to be outside and enjoy the warm weather. The park was packed with people, making it hard to take pictures of the landscape. We came across this woman painting the landscape so I was sort of able to take a landscape shot.

  1. Nice shot…I really like the angle…it really helps give insight into the artist and work. You see a lot of folks out painting here in Savannah as well.

  2. This is a very touching photo… someone getting out to participate in their passion regardless of their health limitations. I also always think it is so brave for painters to get out in public and paint. Us photographers can go home in the privacy of their home to look at our captures… but some painters are right out there where someone can view their progress in real time. I don’t think I could do it. Thanks for posting this one. It made me think!

  3. Debbie, I agree with you. I thought it was wonderful that even with her health issues, she was outside doing something she enjoys (or so I assume). I’m am also very happy that I can bring my images home and Photoshop them before anyone sees them! Although, I found putting my images on a blog was a big step towards putting a piece of myself out there.
