Objects in mirror are closer than they appear

I somehow managed to lose most of the people in my Photowalk group. Every once in awhile I would walk by someone from the group but mostly I was off by myself. I walked over to the North End, walked down a side street and somehow wound up in this alley. I think it was an apartment complex or maybe condos? Either way, it must be well traveled seeing how they had a mirror to make sure you didn't run into anyone coming around the bend.

There happened to be a man moving a mattress into one of the apartments so the mirror actually came in handy. It was a narrow alley so I would try to get out of the way when I noticed him coming around the corner. The trick with this shot was to find an angle where you couldn't see me in the mirror. I'm just off to the left ducking down behind some of the bushes.

  2. Thanks Shirley. I wish I could have cleaned the mirror off before taking the photo!

  3. You did a good job hiding…I never would have found you! Interesting composition

  4. I like the colors and compositon. It is unique because I don’t usually see these mirrors outside.
