I have lived almost my entire life on the south shore of Massachusetts and have worked in Boston for more than 12 years.  While I have always enjoyed taking photos, my background is in video production.  In the past couple of years I have become more interested in photography and purchased a digital SLR camera in April 2007.  

When I realized I was only using my SLR camera for special occasions I decided to start this blog as a means to motivate myself to take more photos (and also to learn to take pictures without using the auto setting).  Now I almost always carry a camera on me (either the SLR or a Point & Shoot camera) to capture anything of interest to my eye.  It’s become all about the blog!

My goal is to post an image every Monday-Friday.  Weekends will be reserved for taking pictures, Photoshopping, or enjoying time with family and friends (and hopefully a nice nap).

For anyone who stops by to view my blog, I appreciate your interest and hope you enjoy the photos.  Your comments are always welcomed.  This has been a wonderful experience. I’ve learned a great deal and with every photo I take I realize there is so much more to learn.  I look forward to the adventure.
