Chris and Karen have a birds nest in a bush that is planted in the middle of their garden. At first it was hard to get a shot of the baby birds as they were hidden mostly behind the leaves but then this one baby was so hungry she sat right on top of the bush. She patiently waited for momma bird to come back and feed her. I think momma bird was a little hesitant to feed the babies because there were a lot of us at my brother’s house for his birthday party and she may have been afraid of the noise (or giving away where her babies were but we already knew).
