I’ve heard the icicles called deathicles becaue they are thick and huge! Before this winter I had really never heard of ice dams but that’s all they talked about on the news. I had a pretty good ice dam going in the corner of my deck. While I could knock the icicles off the roof, if I had tried to knock down the ice dam the whole gutter would have come with it. 

These are icicles from Mom and Dad’s house. They also had a bit of an ice dam going on. It’s going to be cold for the next few days but then I heard it might reach 40 on Monday. I think that will get rid of a lot of the ice dams.
