These shots of the animal sculptures were taken at the Hobe Sound Art Festival back in February. They close down a section of one of the streets and set up tents and have a bunch of artists show their work. There were around 8-10 of these animal sculptures, all very cool and colorful. There heads even bob up and down or can be locked in place.
I wasn’t sure what you would do with one of these because they were so big. However, yesterday we were driving through the Jensen Beach area and as we passed the Children’s Museum. There sitting in front of the museum were two of the animal statues. One was the blue dragon (above) and the other was I think a horse. It seems someone saw them at the art festival, bought them and then donated them to the children’s museum. What a perfect place to put them!
