The Pipiwai Trail is a 4 mile round trip hike. They say it takes about 2 hours (or more if you stop a lot to rest/look around). At just over the half way marker we came to the Bamboo Forest. I can’t even explain how magical it felt to walk through this amazing forest. As we were on this hike I knew this was why I wanted to come to Hawaii. Hana held the tropical paradise I was looking to experience.
