Just before mile 17, the half way to Hana marker, we stopped at Aunt Sandy’s Banana Bread for a snack. The banana bread was delicious! We then walked down to the end of the road to take a look at the water. The Keanae Peninsula was amazing with the spectacular waves crashing against the rocky shore.

It would have been a bummer if a place with banana bread in its name served up subpar banana bread. 🙂 Glad it was delicious. Love that tree.
