This morning I decided to walk through Commonwealth Avenue Mall. The Commonwealth Avenue Mall is a park between the eastbound and westbound sides of Commonwealth Avenue, running the entire width of Back Bay, between Arlington Street and Massachusetts Avenue.
This is a statue of Samuel Eliot Morison. I have never heard of him but I like his statue.
