A childhood friend, emailed me a few months ago and, asked if I would be willing to take some family photos for his parent’s 50th anniversary. Other than my own family, I hadn’t taken any family portraits before and thought it would be a good opportunity. Plus, I hadn’t seen him or his sister in years so I really wanted to see them and meet the rest of their family.

It was a surprise for the parents and thankfully they were happy to cooperate with the photo session (the kids, not as much :-). It was an honor to be a part of their anniversary celebration.
