While in the Berkshires we of course had to go out for a hike. The Laurel Hill Association, the nation’s oldest village imporvement society, maintains the Mary Flynn Trail, Ice Glen trail and Laura’s Tower trail. These three trails all begin after you cross over the Goodrich Memorial Footbridge, Stockbridge, MA.

Joining us on the hike were Chris and Karen’s niece and newphew. It used to be that I would bring our nephews Jared and Josh to the Berkshires for vacation but they are all grown up now and it’s harder to fit us into their busy schedules.
