We stopped at a spot where my aunt mentioned she had seen a bunch of manatees. We were not disappointed, all those spots you see in the water are manatees sunning their backs. It was amazing to see so many in one spot. We counted at least 15 that we could see. The water curved around a bend so I’m sure there even more.

Shirley, I think of you and how much you’d like this area we are staying in. It’s called Manatee Pocket and we have been lucky the last few years to see so many of them.
