When we first got to the beach the tide was coming in. My cousin found this starfish as the tide was going out. Since the starfish hadn’t gone out with the tide he decided to get in the kayak and bring it out to deeper water so it didn’t die. I also found a smaller one but it seemed as if it was barely alive. We use to see tons of starfish and sand dollars as kids but now it’s rare to see a bunch of them, especially this big.
