Many of the buildings were nicely decorated for Holidays in Halifax but I thought that Pope’s Tavern looked especially pretty. This is the location of the Senior Center in Halifax. I don’t know the history of Pope’s Tavern and was too tired to try to look it up. That’s all I got for today.

Thanks, Shirley. Typically, I can just Google info. and cut and paste but I wasn’t able to find much on Pope’s Tavern. I would have had to pull out my book, The History of Halifax (written by my great uncle Guy) and I just wasn’t up to it last night.
