I’m going to take another break from the Rome travel photos. I ended up going out to Saquish for the weekend and didn’t have time to process any photos for this week. However, I had some photos from the Scott Kelby Second-Annual Worldwide Photo Walk that I had already processed. I participated in the Photo Walk last year and really enjoyed it so I decided to signup again this year. Last year I signed up for a walk that took us through Haymarket, Fanueil Hall and the North End. This year’s walk started in the financial district and we made our way to Fanueil Hall and Haymarket. After I had signed up I discovered that they also had a walk going on in the Public Garden. Next year I may try to sign up for that one.
Anyway, after the walk you were allowed to enter two of your best photos into a contest for your group and then if you won that round you moved up into the world wide contest for the grand prize. I had no idea it would be so difficult to choose only two photos. I narrowed it down to about 8 photos and then sent those around to family and friends to get people’s top two picks. I tallied all the votes and this week I will show you the top 5 images.
Image number five was taken at North End Park (across from Fanueil Hall). This little boy looked like he was having so much fun I just had to snap a shot of him. Last year I had taken a photo at this same park that I posted as Kerplunk.
