Macro Meetup: Petals

We had a lot of rain the night before this shoot and you could tell it had done a lot of damage to the flowers. I was mostly taking shots of the flowers that were all in one piece but this one kept drawing my eye back to it. I ended up laying on the ground to get to it’s level and really see the detail. Even with the mulch on it and the damage to the petals I still find this flower extremely appealing.
