I have no idea what this bird is called and I didn’t see any signs For it. I like the red around it’s eye but I really like the orange of it’s eye.

Thanks, Shirley. I had looked on the Central Park Zoo website but hadn’t come across the Red Crowned Crane. Also, I’m jealous of their shots. If only I had a 400mm lens!

Don’t sell yourself short, this shot of the crane is fantastic with amazing detail. That being said, I love how you have nurtured your passion and continue to grow yourself as a photographer. Hope you get a 400mm lens soon! xo
