Here’s the front beach at the high tide. Not much beach left to walk. Typically, during high tide you can take the back road to get off the beach but as you saw in yesterday’s photos the back road was under water. So, we were not going anywhere soon. Of course, we knew it was a high tide and that we would be stuck out at the cottage for a few hours, which we were happy about. However, we came across a couple and their child and they did not realize the tide was going to be so high. They managed to move the car off the front beach but they had to sit on one of the side roads and wait for the tide to go back out before they could take the back road off the beach.
