I’m not sure the exact snowfall total but it had to have been 18+ inches. Thankfully, it wasn’t heavy wet snow or I would be really sore today from all the shoveling. We did have enough snow for my nephew to have a snow day so he was pretty happy about it.
Not sure how the birds are going to be able to get their meals from this feeder until the snow melts. Here’s a shot of the same bird feeder with some birds taking a lunch break from last year. It’s interesting that in that post I mentioned how it had snowed over a foot on Dec. 21 and I posted another shot of the bird feeder with snow on it. Seems appropriate we would have snowstorms around the first day of winter.
