In the morning Mom and I would take a walk around the neighborhood looking at all the nice Florida homes. The one I really like is right on the water and has a gate around the entire property. So, I couldn’t really get a photo of it. What I liked about this house was the palm trees in the front. I found these palms to be particularly interesting. The way the are fanned out and they look really cool when there’s a breeze. I’m not sure what this type of palm tree is called. Apparently, there are 27 different species of palm trees in Florida (not all are native of Florida).

I’ve lived many years of my life in Florida and I can’t remember seeing Palms quite like these…very neat looking!
