Lights please…

This is one of my favorite ornaments. The bright light on Linus’ face is not my flash. What it is, is the light coming from the top of the ornament. You press a button on the right side and Linus’ voice comes on saying, “Lights please.” Slowly the lights come up. Then he goes into the rest of the speech from A Charlie Brown Christmas:

And there were in the same country shepards. Obiding in the field there were in the same country shepherds, abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them! And they were sore afraid … And the angel said unto them, Fear not! That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.

Then the lights slowly fade out. I get a real kick out of this ornament.
