We had the first big snow storm of the season. It started on Friday- being non-essential personnel we were given the day off (sometimes it’s nice not being essential) and ended on Sunday. They said we could get 8-12+ inches so I decided to go down to Mom and Dad’s to be snowed in for the weekend with them (they have a generator). It ended up snowing Friday into Saturday, slowed down a little Saturday night, picked up again Sunday morning and then turned to rain Sunday night. Now the temp. is dropping and we are expected to have icy roads and high winds for today.
This photo was taken late Saturday morning. As you can see there is at least 12 inches of snow on the bird feeder and we still got a few more inches that afternoon.
