Well, at least for the bees this was a field of dreams. These are some of the flowers that all the bees were buzzing around from yesterday's photo. I have no idea what type of flower they are and I'm not sure if it matters all that much. I liked the look of the flowers and enjoyed photographing them along with the bees. Although, if I did know the name I might have come up with a better title.

Very nice, the three colors and the bokeh.
Those are Purple Coneflowers (Echinacea purpurea). I have those and several similar species growing in my garden for the sole pleasure of photographing them. Go back every few days and you’ll notice they change drastically over a period of a few weeks – the cone part makes for great macro shots.
