Hull Cemetery

This is the Hull cemetery. It is located on Telegraph Hill.  If you've never been there, it's a very cool spot.  You have a great view from all sides.  Behind the cemetery is Fort Revere Park.  Many years ago, I used the fort as a location for my master's video project.  Unfortunately, I did not visit the fort this time. It was close to 8pm and I was alone so I decided to save it for another day.

It was a bit cloudier than I had hoped and didn't have as much lighting as I would have wanted.  I was hoping for only a few clouds so that it would be a very colorful sunset.  But, at least it didn't rain.

It had been a long time since I'd actually driven someplace to take photos.  Lately, I've just been walking around Boston and finding shots.  It was nice to go someplace different.  Also, I spent some more time processing with Photshop and Dynamic-Photo HDR.  It was nice to play a little more with the photos (not this one as much as the one I'll post later in the week).

I like the drama of the darkish clouds and wind whipping the flag!
Is that bit of orange behind the tree on the right the setting sun?
So much light at nearly 8 pm—summer is coming!

Yes, that is the sun setting to the right. I went online to check what time sunset was going to be that day and it said 8:05pm. Looking forward to long summer days!
