River Walk

This is the river walkway in Stuart, Florida that runs along the St. Lucie river.  In the background you can see the Roosevelt Bridge.  The walkway and the bridge are both very impressive.  Florida does a wonderful job with their parks and riverbanks.  They offer free parking, have spectacular views and are mostly easily accessible (some are off the beaten path).

This was one of the few days where there were more clouds than blue skies.  I couldn't have asked for a better week to be on vacation. Every day the temperature was between 78° – 84°.  While it was windy every day, it was typically a nice refreshing breeze…although on a few occassions it felt as if a hurricane was brewing.
