Saturday was the annual Holidays in Halifax:
“Holidays in Halifax is the Town’s annual winter holiday event including, during the late afternoon and early evening, open houses in municipal buildings, entertainment and other activities inside and outside, luminaries along the sidewalks and streets in the municipal center, and a visit from Santa. In the morning, the Halifax Parents-Teachers Organization holds a pancake breakfast and craft fair. A week before these events, the Halifax Fire Department and the Halifax Girl Scouts sponsor a toy and food drive.”
It was 60 degrees during the day. Great for everyone attending but not good for the ice sculptures. They were melting fast!
