It's not the Big Dig but this Little Dig is going to make some beautiful changes (and in a short amount of time). The Public Garden is just starting to blossom to life. The Swan Boats are running, flowers are starting to bloom and tons of people are enjoying the grounds. I for one have been looking forward to seeing the Public Garden as it blooms to life.
Notice the sign in the bottom left corner says "Please Stay off the grass." I didn't notice it when I took the picture. It was funny to see it when I opened the image on the computer.

When I first looked at the picture, I thought your caption read “The Little Dog” and I kept looking and searching at the pic wondering what reference point I was missing!
