Another image that was all about the colors and textures in the shot. I really love the natural colors of Fall and this lone acorn. There are tons of acorns this season. So many that it’s actually dangerous to be standing under an oak tree. They don’t float gracefully down from the trees like the leaves do. No, these guys plop right on your head with a pretty good thud.

GORGEOUS. I love how this shot…this image and moment you captured transforms the acorn. It doesn’t really look like an acorn to me… It looks like a hut…a shelter…a container of some sort.
