in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there. Mom does a wonderful job decorating the fireplace mantel. The three stockings hanging on the right side date back about 40 years. These stockings were made for me and my brothers when we were little kids. The other three stockings were added in the past twenty years when Mom had one made for her and Dad (or maybe Mom made it?) and the other two were made when my nephews came along. Nothing better than a nice fire going on Christmas morning.

Congratulate your mother for me. This has such an inviting and homey look. I’d love to see the rest of her home. I love the wallpaper and decorations, fire and stockings.
