These shots of Robert Eustace’s 50,000-square-foot home on Hutchinson Island in Jensen Beach will be the largest home in Martin County. The home is estimated to cost $8 million to build. Eustace is the founder of software supplier Applied Systems Inc. in University Park, Ill.

The top image is a pano created from seven images (that’s how big this place is). For fun I was playing with the Topaz Photoshop plug-ins and l clicked on Topaz Simplify.  The first effect that popped up was Buzz Simplifier and I loved how it looked. I don’t think I even tweaked any of the settings. The second image is the original pano without the effect applied.

The bottom image is the back of the mansion that sits on Jensen Beach. I think if I had 8 million to spend on a house I would find a piece of property where it wasn’t part of the local beach. I’d want a much more private spot. But then again I was the only one that was walking up to the fence to take photos. Maybe the locals are use to seeing this mansion and don’t bother hanging out in front of it.
