Red Umbrella

We had a little snowfall yesterday. It was snowing pretty good during the morning commute. It was perfect snowball snow. Thankfully, it got warmer during the day and ended up turning to rain or it would have been a lot of heavy shoveling. Then again, it would have been nice to have a snow day.

As soon as I saw this woman walk by with her red umbrella I knew I wanted to get a shot of her. I colored out her bag so it didn’t distract from the umbrella but other than that it was basically an in camera black and white with a touch of red. I think it would have been kind of cool if her boots had been red or yellow to give it a balanced look but they were black.
